FINDING YOUR WAY HOME IS VICTORY (PART III)

FINDING YOUR WAY HOME IS VICTORY (PART III) Let's go back in time together. I shared scripture from Psalms 139:13 - Where God knew you in your mother's womb - Psalms 139:15 - Where God knew you when you were conceived, and Jeremiah 1:5 - Where God knew you before you were conceived. Now, let's go back in time even further. I want to talk to you about someone who was born before you were born on this planet, and God knew this person too! Someone who was very important to God as much as you are. Someone God trusted, and this person trusted God. Someone that Jesus trusted too! This person is Mary - not Mary Magdalene. I'm talking about Mary - Jesus' mother. I know! You’re asking me what does Mary, the mother of Jesus have to do with you. Just follow me - I promise you, you will understand.   Now, I have to explain the science behind all this. So, we will have to go back in time even farther.      FINDING YOUR WAY HOME IS VICTORY (PART II)   Going back in time can be a scary thing for some people. Especially if you've gone through some bad experiences. I know it was for me. Sometimes it felt like I was reliving through the experiences all over again. That's exactly what happened to me in order for me to receive my healing, and at times it's exactly what's needed to be done. I know what you're thinking - you're thinking God took me back to the first time I got high on drugs, and alcohol or the first time someone offered me drugs, and alcohol. Well, God didn't even take me back to my childhood when bad experiences happened to me!   God took me back even further than that. Let me share 4 Bible scriptures with you, maybe 5! Psalms 139:13 - For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb. Okay - Okay; I know what you're thinking! You're thinking God took me back to when I was in my mother's be...

(POST # I) FINDING YOUR WAY HOME IS VICTORY (PART I) I believe one of the most important questions we ask God, (and He will answer - if you will ask Him,) is - Why God? Why am I going through this? Or - Why did this happen to me? Or - Why did I have to live through that horrible experience? It’s inevitable that we all go through bad things. Some things are not of our own doing. Some of us were born into a bad environment, or family. We didn’t choose our parents. It’s also inevitable that we all make bad decisions. Mistakes that we can't undo. No matter how hard we try we can’t. We can rack our brains out trying to figure out how. Or, try to understand what would have happened if we didn’t make the mistakes we did. How our lives might have been different.  Finding victory in my life started in that very place for me. Asking God those very same questions, and God did answer me! But, I had to get to that place - and point in my life where I really wanted to ...
