FINDING YOUR WAY HOME IS VICTORY (PART lI)

FINDING YOUR WAY HOME IS VICTORY
(PART II)

Going back in time can be a scary thing for some people. Especially if you've gone through some bad experiences. I know it was for me. Sometimes it felt like I was reliving through the experiences all over again. That's exactly what happened to me in order for me to receive my healing, and at times it's exactly what's needed to be done. I know what you're thinking - you're thinking God took me back to the first time I got high on drugs, and alcohol or the first time someone offered me drugs, and alcohol. Well, God didn't even take me back to my childhood when bad experiences happened to me!

God took me back even further than that. Let me share 4 Bible scriptures with you, maybe 5!

  1. Psalms 139:13 - For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb. Okay - Okay; I know what you're thinking! You're thinking God took me back to when I was in my mother's belly! Right? No! Even further!

  2. Psalms 139:15 - My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Now you're thinking God took me back to when I was conceived. HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE! How can anybody remember that!? No! Let's go even further to where God took me. I told you - God took me on a journey!

  3. Jeremiah 1:5 - Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. Ya! That's right! BEFORE I was even conceived! Before YOU were even conceived! WOW! WHAT A JOURNEY! Think about it!

  4. Scripture number 4 and 5 I will share with you later.

Can you imagine that! Going back in time with God to a place where He knew you before you ever made a mistake, before you were ever abused, or before you had any addictions! You were perfect, because that's how God made you. PERFECT! That's how God intended you to be. PERFECT!

Unfortunately, God knew everything that would happen to you, and every bad mistake you would make. For some of us God also knew about our dysfunctional families that would shape our lives into who we are today - and  do you know what? None of it was His will for us. God never wanted us to suffer any sadness, pain, addiction, abuse, or depression. Anything negative that is in this world is not His will for you, or me. NONE OF IT!

BUT IT DOES EXISTS

Well, you ask  - why then do all these bad things happen to you, why are you suffering from abuse, or with addiction? Why is God letting this happen to me, and why doesn't He stop it - or intervene?

God can - and He will. But, first let me answer your question. WHY AND HOW?

 WHY AND HOW

I'm not going to tell you that if you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior that all your problems will go away. (Even though that was His ultimate goal for every man upon the face of this earth to accept Jesus into their hearts.) - I'm not going to tell you that if you accept Jesus as your Lord, and Savior that you still won't have to fight your addiction, - or any type addiction, because you will. And, I’m not going to tell you your broken heart from abuse won't just go away like that. But, with Jesus the battle is 100% easier. I'm not going to tell you that!

What I am going to tell you is what God told me when I was praying. What He showed me just blew my mind away. Let me tell you - I had a very long discussion with God explaining this to me. God wanted me to know what His plan had always been for me. It was never God's will for me to be abused as a child. It was never God's will for me to have had a drug problem, or even be exposed to drugs. It was never God's will for me to experience alcoholism in my life, or my parents life.

What God showed me is one word. One simple word that tied everything all together. One word that opened up a door into a realm that I never knew existed. One word that explained why I can't go back in time to change, or alter my life from every negative thing that ever happened to me. But - God can take me back in time to understand, how - and - why in order to find victory and maintain victory. He can take you too! That one word is HISTORY!

History! Yes history! How does history have anything to do with victory over addiction, or how can history help you overcome addiction?Or, the sadness from abuse. You have to understand how history works in God's realm when it pertains to history in our realm. I will explain it to you. Just follow me through this, and you will be enlightened the same way I was. You will be able to apply this to your life, and walk in victory too! Isn't that what you want - victory? Stay tuned for (Part III) of "FINDING YOUR WAY HOME IS VICTORY"
