MY SECRET PLACE
I can never get enough of the Lord's special secret place, where He has gifted me with His strength to over come any obstacle that comes my way. Most importantly, His secret place is a place where He lets me "Bask in His Glory." His Glory permeates my entire being. His secret place is where I am victorious, because I am with Him. I am praising Him - adoring Him, and He adores me too. My secret place is His secret place where I experience His fullness of power, or as much as I can handle of His power - where He embraces me - where He demonstrates His word. He is my shield, and buckler. The Lord wants you to come to His secret place too - to "Bask in His Glory"
Can you imagine experiencing God's presence in His Glory - His glorious presence that it leaves you breathless?
1 PETER 4:13
But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
PSALMS 81:7
Thou calledst in trouble, and I delivered thee; I answered thee in the secret place of thunder: I proved thee at the waters of Meribah. Selah.
A PLACE TO ABIDE
Basking in His Glory is our secret place, His secret place - our refuge - our fortress, where He wants us to stay. Basking in His Glory is a continuous flow of His living water. Basking in His Glory is where you will find His strength. But, you have to want it. You have to want to do whatever it's going to take to get there - to develop a deep intimate relationship with God. That's more than just going to church, or being involved in church actives. Which is important! But, This type of relationship is ONLY accomplished by spending time with Him alone - seeking His face, and you have to stay there. Your heart will rejoice in His presence. That is when His Glory becomes tangible in your life. You have to anguish for Him, because you know you can't thrive without Him, and His presence.
PSALMS: 91:1-2
1) He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall (abide) under the shadow of the Almighty. 2) I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
1 CHRONICLES 16:10 -11
10) Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD. 11) Seek the LORD and his strength, (seek his face continually.)
THE PERFECT JOURNEY
When you experience God's Glory you will not want to ever leave there again. You will look forward to the time you are alone with Him in His secret place every time. You will hunger it - you will crave after Him. You will want to seek after His face, and you will want to put away any obstacle that will come in your way. You will want to be perfect before Him. God wants you to get His attention! GET GOD'S ATTENTION!
2 CHRONICLES 7:14-15
14) If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. 15) (Now mine eyes shall be opened, and mine ears attent unto the prayer that is made in this place.)
Having a deep intimate relationship with the Lord will require you to fight against your flesh. Sometimes, you have to fight, and fight hard to find His secret place of thunder. You have to make yourself presentable to God...by making a conscious decision to want His perfect will in your life. If you want to walk with His Glory, then you have to decide to walk in His Glory. But, you can't do that till you make the decision to walk in Holiness - His Holiness. Once you decide - go to Him, and He will place in you the greatest desire to live a pure, and holy life (clean from sin) - to please Him.
1 CHRONICLES 16:29
Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come before him: worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.
PSALMS 29:1
Give unto the LORD, O ye mighty, give unto the LORD glory and strength.
You've aaccepted Jesus Christ as your Lord, and Savour, but you keep falling short of being victorious. It may not be that you're falling back into old sins. But, you're feeling you need something more out of your Christian walk with the Lord. Believe it, or not, that is a good place to be. God wants you to have a deeper relationship with Him. He is hungering a deeper relationship with you too!
MATTHEW 7:14
Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

WHY IS IT A SECRET PLACE?

A FREE GIFT
Salvation is a free gift from God. But, you have to want Jesus as your Lord, and Savour. His secret place, is where you find His face - His Glory is also a free gift. But, it's not obtained by works. It is obtained by Grace - His Grace. But, you have to abide there.
EPHESIANS 2:8-9
8) For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9) Not of works, lest any man should boast.
The Greek definition for abide is: To be true - to preserve - to remain - to persist - to wait, stay - to tarry - to endure - to lodge.
The Hebrew definition for abide is: To settle down - to dwell - to loosen - to lodge - pass the night - HOME - spending the night - to encamp - under siege until - shelter - cleave - join self - to twine - to conceal ones self - to couch.
Therefore, to dwell in God's secret place - to abide under the His shadow - He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you will trust: His truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

That requires work - not works -
That is where you find God's face - That is where God's Glory is - That is where you dwell in God's secret place - That is where you abide under His shadow - That is where He will cover thee with His feathers, and under His wings you will trust.
That is where you "Bask in God's Glory!"
THE MYSTERIES OF THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN
1 CORINTHIANS 2:9-10

TO KNOWTHE MYSTERIES OF THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN
9) But as it is written, Eye hath not seen nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. 10) But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
MATTHEW 13:11+17
11) He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. 17) For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.
The ultimate victory is to obtain an intimate relationship with God by "Basking in His Glory." When you bask in His Glory you will also have victory in your life too! Isn't that what you want? To be victorious with God?
MATTHEW 13:11+17

MATTHEW 5:8
BLESSED ARE THE PURE IN HEART:
FOR THEY SHALL SEE GOD.
The ultimate victory is to obtain an intimate relationship with God by "Basking in His Glory." When you bask in His Glory you will also have victory in your life too! Isn't that what you want? To be victorious with God?
PRAYER OF SALVATION
If you don't know as your Lord, and Savior, receive Him now! Just ask Him into your heart. Ask Him to forgive you of your sins - (your wrong doings.)
ROMANS 10:13 - For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
