ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table,
 and of the table of devils.

IS ADDICTION EXTREME?

 

You tell me! Does you whole world revolve around what you are addicted to? Does your day start off thinking about your addiction to alcohol, or your next fix? Do all the places you go to revolve around your addiction? Do all your friend's get high with you? Do you stay away from people that don't get high? Or, you stay away from people who want to help you get away from your addiction?

 

It seems every where you go, look, sleep or even the things you watch on TV! You are surrounded by things that remind you of your addiction! It's part of your life style. It's so ingrained in you that IT IS also your social entertainment.

 

That's what addiction is - OBSESSION! Obsessed to feed a mental, emotional, or physical hunger that the body can't live with out. It controls your sense of judgment, hunger, and your sense of reality. It eats at the very core of your soul, and your flesh. It's killing you to have it - it's killing you to go with out it. It's a continuous revolving door of torment. Torment that looks for no way to

escape - because it controls you, and it wants to continue to control you. It won't let you go! It doesn't want to let you go! It will fight to keep you. It has a mind of its own. IT CAN'T LIVE WITH OUT YOU! IT WON'T GIVE UP UNTIL.....
 

IT'S A MATTER OF LIFE OR DEATH:
 

Yes! It's a matter of life, or death for your addiction - or a matter of life, or death for you to live. Your addiction, and it's obsession with keeping you addicted will thrive on you till you are dead. That is it's life - YOUR DEATH IS WHAT IT WANTS! It will consume your life till there is no life left in you. That is it's power - YOUR DEATH! Your death to your addiction means you are non-existent to yourself. You are in a deep black whole of complete darkness. In an evil place - tormented in your addiction. Complete, and utterly separated from all that is good. There is no turning back! Your addiction has finally won it's final battle - the ultimate battle - YOUR DEATH. 

JOHN 10:10 - The thief (the devil - your addiction) cometh not, but for to steal, and kill, and to destroy:....

I PETER 5:8 - Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

OVER COMING ADDICTION IS EXTREME!
 

Being extreme over your addiction is extreme! You have to RUN to your victory FULL THRODDLE! Extinguish it the same way it wants to extinguish you. There's no room for compromising. Climb out of that deep black whole of complete darkness, that evil place of torment - before you are separated from all that is good. Close the door, throw away the key, and don't look back! Remove your self from every obstacle, and remove every obstacle from you. Remove everyone that reminds you of your addiction. Don't even peek at temptation! That is extreme! But, as extreme as your addiction is - you have to be even more extreme. If ever you have had to fight for something, THIS IS IT! The fight for your life.

There were times when I would have to grab my Bible, get away from everyone I knew, go to my secret place, close the door, hold tightly to my Bible, and pray. I knew God was stronger than me. I knew God wanted me to be as strong as He is so I could overcome my addiction.

Overcoming addiction is extreme, a miracle. A miracle that can only come from God's extreme power. Taking God to the max of his power. THAT IS EXTREME. God is an extreme God, and you have to be as extreme as He is to be victorious. But, you have to TOTALLY SURRENER - I MEAN TOTALLY SURRENDER TO GOD! If you will totally surrender to God YOU WILL BE TOTALLY VICTORIOUS! 

I CORINTHIANS 10:13 - There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to men: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

JAMES 4:7 - Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

EPHESIANS 4:27 - Neither give place to the devil

EXTREME GOD -

 EXTREME LOVE - EXTREME VICTORY

 

God is an extreme God. He knows it's going to take extreme faith to overcome your addiction. No one knows how difficult it is to overcome your addiction more than God does. He knows exactly what led you to your addiction, the very first time you got high, or the very first time you got drunk. He knows your every hurt - your every pain. He wants to heal you, and deliver you. 

 

It's going to take extreme faith to come to grips with overcoming your addiction. But, God is an extreme God, and He can give you extreme faith through Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is God's extreme Love for you. When you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you are submitting yourself to God's Holy Spirit to come into your life, and receive His extreme power, and faith in Him, so you can have extreme victory.

 

Jesus dying on the cross is God's extreme Love for you, so you can have extreme victory over your addiction.

 

JOHN 3:16-17 - 16) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17) For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

JOHN 10:10 - ....I am come that they (YOU) might have life, and that they (YOU) might have it more abundantly.

Weather you are already a Christian struggling with addiction, or not, you need to totally submit yourself to God so you can have victory over your addiction.   

 

GOD IS AN EXTREME GOD - HE GAVE EXTREME LOVE - SO YOU CAN HAVE EXTREME VICTORY!

 

WON'T YOU ASK JESUS INTO YOUR HEART TODAY SO YOU CAN HAVE EXTREME VICTORY?
